Even as a high school student, Jeff Gibson knew college wasn't the route for him. Fortunately, his school gave him another route: shop class. Today, he runs a multi-state high-end construction company, and he's working to give the opportunity he had back to students with the Shop Class Foundation. Based in Henderson, Nevada, students of the Shop Class Foundation spend the year learning everything from framing to electrical to plumbing as they build a full functional tiny home!

  • Real Skills: Students learn the basics of the trades from real pro donating their time and materials, covering everything from framing to electrical
  • Real Jobs: Students are ready to pursue an apprenticeship, trade school, or set out on their own to a job in the trades
