The Metabo HPT Wall Chaser, MFE 40 (646040620) is a 5”, 15 Amp, variable-depth grinding tool is made in Germany. This professional-grade tool was made to route channels for installing electrical wiring, cables, and empty pipes in plaster, concrete, and masonry up to 3/8”–1 9/16” (40 mm) deep. It features a powerful LongLife motor with dust protection and a two-stage high-power drive system that maintains constant speed through Metabo HPT’s Tacho-Constamatic full-wave electronics, delivering up to 5,000 RPM no-load and 4,400 RPM when under load. The MFE 40 connects easily to a Metabo HPT vacuum for low-dust operation. The tool comes with two diamond cutting discs, spacer rings, a chase extraction chisel, a wrench, and a durable plastic carrying case.
