Ecommerce Content & Strategy Specialist

The Metabo HPT (Koki Holdings America Ltd.) corporate communications marketing team is looking for a motivated Ecommerce content & strategy specialist to develop and implement strategy, maintain website and affiliate marketing content within brand standards and guidelines. The position will be responsible for daily content management of the corporate website and information systems. This position will also oversee ecommerce affiliate programs ensuring programs are defined, following the strategy, and optimized for mutual benefit in the ecommerce space.


  • Formulate and implement ecommerce strategy with affiliate distribution helping to foster relationships and ensure maximum participation and driving sales growth
  • Identify workflows and processes that help streamline communication and operational efficiency
  • Develop reports and metrics to support effectiveness of executed projects and ensure standards are being followed
  • Work closely with marketing to devise a web content strategy that aligns with the company's wider goals

  • Implement all content activities for the organization’s website
  • Create a content marketing calendar to ensure engaging content on the website throughout the year
  • Write informative search engine optimized copy
  • Update all sections of the website including homepage and all other categories
  • Responsible for selecting templates, components and modules, adding/editing content (copy, images, video, tagging, SEO metadata) to compose web pages based on brand guidelines and stakeholder input
  • Collaborate with project teams (internally and externally) to produce web assets
  • Build out accessory section and fastener section of the website
  • Assist in disseminating online content effectively and accurately to PIM system
  • Implement, maintain, and improve SEO activities including adding appropriate tags and keywords across all active pages
  • Monitor, track, and report marketing metrics and Google analytics on a regular basis
  • Work closely with design, communications, product management & channel teams
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices and monitoring content activities of competitor websites
  • Ensure adherence to corporate design and messaging standards



  • MUST have EXCELLENT writing/editing skills and an eye for grammar
  • Experience using web-based content management
  • Working knowledge of writing for search engine optimization
  • Must demonstrate the ability to complete multiple tasks accurately, while consistently meeting deadlines, effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to handle a heavy workload
  • Positive, upbeat, can-do, professional, and responsible attitude, independent and self-directed yet also team oriented
  • Have a solid understanding and interest in modern web layout and trends, and always looking to create designs that are one step ahead of the curve
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.


  • College Degree in one of these fields: Marketing, Communications, Website Marketing or Related Digital Field of Study
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in a website content/strategy role
  • Experience in the professional services industry in a marketing capacity or with a marketing agency is desirable
  • Experience working with a CMS including Sitefinity, Drupal & WordPress a plus
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Does not need to be a developer, but must know basic HTML/CSS and be tech savvy and knowledgeable about latest online trends/tools
  • Experienced following a web interface style guide
  • Experienced in responsive design applications and best practices
  • MUST be creative and constantly coming up with ideas to engage with our customers, create brand awareness, and grow the business.


  • Prefer English as a first language, however proficiency in Spanish and French a plus.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. 
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries and complaints from customer, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. 
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. 
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.


  • Advance PC knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Knowledge of CMS systems with preference for Sitefinity
  • Knowledge of PIM system preferred but not required
  • Basic website coding knowledge (CSS, HTML, Javascript)
