The position of Associate Channel Manager is responsible for helping to establish/direct the channel strategy as it relates to new tool launches, and the entire execution of all promotions and marketing initiatives in the existing business. This position develops the channel strategy, forecasts and drives the execution of this strategy.


  • Clearly understand the channel and identify all new opportunities and prioritize these opportunities based on internal product plans and strategy, competitive and industry retail landscape, and analysis of the benefits to revenue growth.
  • Plan, execute and participate in all facets of the promotional strategy and communicate with the field sales in a timely executed manner.
  • Analyze sales figures and report back trends, issues and complete an overall full sales analysis on Tool and accessory SKU’s
  • Track KPIs and report on supply chain’s performance.
  • Analyze reports and other data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate cohesively within a cross-functional team and matrix management structure.
  • Proactively analyze customer order patterns compared with forecasts
  • Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals
  • Work with field sales to create and analyze sales forecasts
  • Establish and maintain appropriate inventory targets, safety stock levels, and replenishment requirements.
  • Monitors customer-related inventory, and communicates to management and the customer when excess, slow-moving and/or dead inventory is identified.

Inventory management; Mathematical skills; Must be able to work well in a team environment

Data analysis & Data Management; Forecasting; Working knowledge of MS Office with strong Excel skills; Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.

  • Must take ownership of small details as well as large projects.
  • Able to manage own time effectively and meet deadlines within a highly dynamic and sometimes chaotic work environment.
  • Needs excellent communication (written & verbal) and presentation skills with a good rapport and proven track record working with key customers
  • Needs to have a solid general knowledge of power tools, power tool accessories and applications
  • Ability to use analytical methods and a variety of tools to understand, predict, and/or control logistics operations and processes.
  • Completes all tasks in expected timeframes.
  • Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, able to support multiple projects and/or logistics business functions, possesses excellent communication skills, works well with a team, interacts with multiple levels and functions with the organization, and able to manage vendor/business relationships.
  • Develops business tools and solutions based on knowledge, product or technology and identifies
  • Willingness to travel


BS/BA in Logistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred; Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Business Analyst or similar role; Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g., inventory planning)

Three or more years of related work experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting process improvement.
  • Develops and maintains cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models
  • Performs data management through a combination of data mining, data modeling, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis and/or problem analysis, while executing day to day processes related to area of responsibility.
  • Supports the business through ad-hoc queries and maintains reports from a variety of resources as specific to department or organizational needs.
